    • Greed often gets in the way of riches and success 
    • Simple twist on the goose eggs 
  2. The Stupid Monkeys
    • If you want something done right you have to do it yourself 
  3. The Cunning Wolf
    • Gluttony, must like the Crane and the Fish 
  4. The Woodpecker and the Lion 
    • Trusting Favor 
    • Help thy neighbor 
  5. The Otters and the Wolf 
    • Be thankful for what you have, you never know when it could be taken 
    • Be generous/ weary 
    • Trend of only three characters to keep the plot simple and not confusing 
      • The third party is often leader to the moral of the story 
  6. How the Monkey Saved His Troop
    • Respect sacrifice 
    • Strong leader
  7. The Hawks and Their Friends 
    • Be friends with the little guys too, they are often more sincere 
  8. The Foolhardy Wolf 
    • Greed is often used a theme among these tails 
  9. The Stolen Plow 
    • Never trust a trader 
    • Sad, but always true 
  10. The Lion In Bad Company 
    • Again, a story about greed 
    • They are always warned against it
  11. The Wise Goat and the Wolf 
    • Greed again, but trusting yourself will always lead you away from danger 
  12. Beauty and Brownie 
    • Always listen to advice from elders, they often know what is best 
    • Short, Simple, Three characters
  13. The Elephant and the Dog 
    • Do not give up something that is not yours to give
